Burnside Primary School offers childcare provision which we have listed below:​​

Nursery

Our Nursery has places for eligible 2 year olds, 3 and 4 year olds.

​

Nursery Session Times:

• 8.45 am to 11.45 am

• 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm

​

Children between 2 and 5 years old can access our Early Years provision where all children play and learn alongside each other.  We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS) and the children enjoy learning indoors and outdoors. Forms for admission to the nursery are available from the School Office. We have funded and paid places available. Please contact our school office if you are unsure how many funded hours you may be entitled to.

We also offer flexible 'Bolt on' lunch sessions and half days to families. Please contact the school office for further information. ​

Active Start is our morning wrap around provision for children Y1-Y6. It begins at 8am and cost £1 per child. Bookings should be made in advance via Arbor. 

 

Mr Middleton, our Sports Coach, leads Active Start. The sessions provide the children with opportunities to participate in a range of sports and ensures a healthy start to the day! ​
