Year 6

Welcome to Year 6!

My name is Mrs Renwick. I am the Deputy Head teacher and the Year 6 class teacher. I have worked at Burnside Primary School for a long time and love my job!

 

Year 6 is an incredibly important year for the children as we prepare for the SATs in May.  It’s really a time for us all to ‘show-off’ all of the skills and knowledge we’ve acquired during our time at Burnside – a time to truly shine!

It would be highly appreciated if you could support your child weekly with their reading and record your comments in their reading diary.  It is important that they return their reading book and reading diary every week so we can monitor how frequently they are reading at home and supporting them in developing their love of reading.
